How To Dress For An Interview

The face you show to your prospective employer is of crucial importance. It doesn’t mean you have to have a Angelina Jolie like look or have perfect facial features. You need to dress up in a wake that it should exhibit your professionalism, confidence and reliability. First impression you make on the interviewer is the best impression. Here are a few tips to keep in mind if you have an upcoming interview:

  • Do not put make up in a dash. Give yourself time to make sure that evry thing blends in. After all, slow and steady wins the race.
  • Do not apply heavy eyemake up.  It is said among the employees that heavy eye make up lovers are often party lovers. Smokey eyes with loud eyeshadow  are not meant for interviews.
  • Use a natural color lipstick of matte finish. Heavy and too bright lip color lovers are said to be over confident.
  • Want to play it safe by avoiding make up totally? Na ah!  The employer may think that you are in the edge of an emotional breakdown or under depression. Dont totally avoid make up.
  • Blush is not meant for a professional interview. Try to avoid it as much as possible. If required, use soft hues of natural pink.
  • In case of eye make up, Use  a mascara to open up your eye and give a thin line using eye liner for the lower eye. This is more than enough for an interview.
  • Keep Your piercings away - If you have a number of piercings, keep them away when you are getting ready to attend an interview.
  • Be careful about what you wear- this is the most important of all. If you are taking an interview for a professional , post dress professionally. Minis and little dresses are not meant for interview
  • Wear minimum jewellery , a simple earing and a watch will be  more than enough
